Perhaps it may come across that we are slanted, and yes perhaps it may appear that way but we don’t feel that way in any way shape of form. We setup this site to provide some good clean advice and would not promote a product that is crap and not what it appears to offer on the website. I only recommend a few web hosts and Hostgator is certainly my clear choice.
I have been using them for over 5 years and have quite frankly only a few very small problems with them. One to show you that they have made a mistake is taking down my site for a possible trade mark infringement some years ago without consulting me first and asking for my input. I was quite frustrated and annoyed but it turns out it was a new recruit and they acted over zealously when it came down to it and wanted to make a good impression. Fair enough, this was explained to me in a telephone call and they adopted a new protocol to enact that a customer should be first quizzed before taking down their site with no notice, apart from other thing but also including TM infringement. And by the way I didn’t infringe a trademark I simply did not reference it in my poor editing days when sometimes I overlooking things such as this.
I cannot recommend any web host more highly than hostgator; they are the bloody best out there. I am in Australia and no complaints, my US colleagues have nothing but praise for the company also and have continuing active web hosting accounts.
